If the underlying evolutionary pressure for the sexual aspect of regality was to increase the reproduction of the threatened group, in those threatened groups would we see more cultural prohibitions against female homosexuality than male homosexuality, since it seems like women are the real limiting factor for reproduction? If so, do you see that?

That sounds logical, but it's difficult to say. Female homosexuality is almost invisible in the anthropological and ethnographic literature. I don't know if this is because anthropologists have paid more attention to male homosexuality or because women had to marry a man anyway for economic or cultural reasons. It is also possible that male homosexuals were despised in warring societies because they were not brave warriors.
